The 13th Sign, Marilyn Manson and Documentary

An interesting headline, I know.

But it's the truth. I am about to PA for a local film titled, "The 13th Sign" featuring the lead singers of Michigan-based metal band "Mushroomhead". I'm not a fan of this group by any means, but it's still someone famous.
I'm hoping to help out from Jan. 25th to Feb. 11th. :)

As for my own projects, I've begun the pre-production for my short film which details the day in the life of a waiter, and his honest attempts at giving a kid the birthday song of his life.

Last, but not least, is my short documentary I'm putting together on the Michigan Film Incentive. Phone calls and talking with executives have already begun and I'm stoked to see more progress with this.

HIATUS NO MORE!

Sorry for the long Hiatus!

I have been the pre-production for 3 projects and am very eager to start! I'm beginning 2 short films and 1 documentary. Anyone who wants to be involved should inquire through my blog or message me! :)

Also, if anyone wants to be involved in an upcoming Zombie Mockumentary with my friend and fellow film maker, Krissy Haggard, please message me too!

I'm eager to begin this year right! Full of beautiful celluloid!

Casting Results and Filming

So as of yesterday, I officially chose my actors for my short film! The auditions went great, with many people from the michigan film office. That was sweet.

So this Saturday begins my filming of the party scene. If you want to be an extra, please contact me and I'll give you the details! :D

Casting Call

I will be holding an open casting call this October 2nd from 10am to 4pm. Please wear casual clothing, and be prepared to read a cold script.
If you're interested, please come to Oakland University and head to The Heritage Room in the Oakland Center.

This is a NON PAID gig, but future film festivals could harbor cash prizes, where you might be paid.

I'm very excited about this script! :D
Please come on down and try out! I'm looking for a bunch of extras as well, so don't hesitate, thinking you won't get a role!

Inside Job

A new movie coming out has been brought to my attention, and it looks awesome!
It's called "Inside Job" and it's basically and documentary about Wall Street, and how it's significant drop in 2008 was done on purpose by the people who were "failing", in order to benefit.
